The message that the El Nogal club sent to members regarding the inspection of Zulma Guzmán’s locker carried out by the Prosecutor’s Office within the case of the poisoned girls

Under the title ‘Information of interest to our community’, the directives of the exclusive El Nogal club circulated a statement on Wednesday, June 3, in which they provided their members with explanations for a judicial proceeding that took place in their Bogotá facilities.
Without giving specific names, the message states: “El Club El Nogal informs that, within the framework of an investigation carried out by the Attorney General’s Office, in response to a request from the competent authorities, on Monday, June 1, a proceeding was carried out in a locker that was assigned to a person who was part of the Club.”

Expelled?

Zulma Guzmán y Juan de Bedout.
Club sources told EL TIEMPO that it was the locker of Zulma Guzmán Castro, accused by the Prosecutor’s Office of being the co-author of the thallium poisoning of two girls in April 2025, after sending them thallium-contaminated chocolate-covered raspberries.
“They had already informed us that her membership was suspended. But according to the statement, she has already been expelled,” said one of the members.
Indeed, the statement indicates: “The Club clarifies that the person involved in this case is no longer part of the El Nogal Club community.”
And it adds: “El Nogal has provided and will continue to provide all the collaboration required by the authorities, in strict respect of their constitutional and legal functions, as well as the actions carried out within said investigation.”

What was found?

Zulma Guzmán El Nogal
The proceeding was carried out by Sijín agents on the sixth floor of the Club, in the ladies’ changing room.
Specifically, they arrived at locker number 314, which had Zulma Guzmán’s name on it.
Photographs of the proceeding show that a skin-colored bag was found, inside which were two transparent jars with blue lids and the label “sulfur”.
In addition, logos of a delivery company with stickers were found, which according to some media was the same one used to send the thallium-laced raspberries to the minors who died after ingesting them. However, according to documents in EL TIEMPO’s possession, the delivery person who brought the package was from another company.

Gloves and girdles

Frambuesas
Sijín investigators also found used latex gloves in the locker, which have already been sent to the Forensic Medicine laboratory to determine if there is any trace of a chemical substance, including thallium.
It should be remembered that EL TIEMPO exclusively revealed that Zulma Guzmán’s ten-print card indicates that she has atrophy in her fingerprints.
Aesthetic girdles, clay for poultices and masks, as well as some sheer stockings were also found.
EL TIEMPO exclusively established that it is being verified whether Guzmán had undergone cosmetic surgery and if this is why, in addition to chocolate-covered raspberries, she ordered a medication to prevent bleeding for home delivery.
The results of the tests performed on the elements found are expected to be known in the coming days.
