Video | Luis Suárez continues his streak: goal and assist with Sporting, in the victory against Nacional

Luis Javier Suárez extended his scoring streak this Saturday with a new goal, this time from a penalty, in the match against Nacional, in the fifth round of the Portuguese league. 
The Samarian, 29 years old, reached four goals in the last three matches of his team, by scoring a penalty goal in the 32nd minute to put Sporting ahead. 
Then, at 47, Suárez appeared again in the play of Sporting’s second goal, assisting his teammate Flávio Gonçalves.

Saturday’s goal adds to the one he scored against Alverca on August 22 and the brace against Rio Ave six days later, leaving behind a difficult start to the current season, in which he had gone scoreless in the first two rounds. 
Suárez already has 42 goals in 58 matches with Sporting, which he joined at the start of the 2024/25 season, coming from Almería.
